10 Stunning Sedans You Forgot Even Existed

Often overshadowed by the G, the Infiniti M, later renamed as the Infiniti Q70, was a mid-size luxury sedan aimed squarely at the BMW 5 Series and Lexus GS. The first four-door Infiniti M sold in the United States was the second generation M45 (based on the Nissan Gloria) in 2002, which only lasted through 2004.

It may have been short-lived, but this might be the prettiest sedan Infiniti ever built. Those exaggerated proportions made it look like something a mafia hitman might drive, and those macho looks were backed up by a potent 4.5-liter V8 with 340 horsepower.

The third-generation M35/45 took a break from the unique styling, opting for a more generic appearance before reemerging as a stunner for the fourth generation in 2010. Based on the Nissan Fuga, the Infiniti M37 and M56 looked like larger, more voluptuous versions of the attractive G37. The M37 shared the G37’s 3.7-liter V6 with 330 hp, but the rarer M56 packed a 5.6-liter V8 from the QX56 with 420 hp.
