The 2024 Acura TLX just arrived sporting its first facelift since being introduced in its second generation for the 2021 model year. Perhaps as an indication of the shrinking sedan market, Acura has reduced trim offerings with minor changes to the styling, in-cabin technology, and feature content.
The Technology Package is now standard equipment, rolling in built-in navigation, ELS Studio premium audio, blind spot monitoring, 19-inch wheels, LED cabin lighting, and a Milano leather interior. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine carries over with 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, going out through a 10-speed automatic transmission.
That Technology Package car is only available with front-wheel drive, and anyone who wants Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive (SH-AWD) with the base engine needs to upgrade to the A-Spec. The Advanced trim with its adaptive suspension has been axed from the lineup. Acura hasn’t announced pricing yet, but the TLX will get more expensive now that the Technology Package is standard.
