As for the powertrain, we’re expecting the return of the 4.0-liter M177 twin-turbocharged V8 sourced from Mercedes-AMG. While that currently delivers 503 horsepower and 505 lb-ft of torque, we’d expect a bit more for the new Vantage. The possibility of an AMG six-cylinder was refuted by product and market strategy director Alex Long, saying the “sound is so much” for the model.
Aston bid farewell to the V12-powered Vantage with a final edition so we know the V12 won’t be continuing for the 2024 model. However, the chassis setup from the V12 version could be applied to the new Vantage.
The 2024 Aston Martin Vantage is set to be revealed in the next few months so we’ll know all the juicy details soon enough.
