2024 Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator Special Editions Tout Beach Vibes

  • The 2024 Jeep Wrangler and its pickup-truck counterpart, the Gladiator, will be available as limited-production Beach editions.
  • Jeep will sell 500 copies of the beach-inspired Wrangler 4xe that starts at $62,290; only 250 Gladiator Beach models will be sold at $52,390.
  • Both Jeep Beach editions are only available to order in certain southeastern states such as Florida.

Jeeps are always talked about for their off-road capability, but the Wrangler and Gladiator—with their removable doors and roof panels—don’t get enough credit for being the perfect ride for beach goers. That fact isn’t lost on Jeep, which not only holds a beach-themed event every year in Daytona Beach, Florida, but the brand has recently released details about new limited-production Beach editions of the 2024 Wrangler 4xe and Gladiator.

Sons of Beaches

What does someone get when they order Jeep’s mid-size SUV or mid-size pickup truck with the Beach package? Well, it all starts with the Willys trim level for both models. Each comes with a body-color hardtop (headliner included), the Sunrider Fliptop that features a foldable cloth section over the front-seat passengers, and decals that let everyone know it’s a Beach edition.

Other standard gear on the special editions includes 32-inch mud-terrain tires (Gladiators) or 33-inch all-terrain tires (Wranglers), a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, adaptive cruise control, LED front lighting, and steel rock rails. Every version also features Mopar Katzkin leather seats that are embroidered with “Jeep Beach.”

Pricing and Availability

For those who want to get their sandy hands on the 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Beach edition, there are a few things they need to know. First, only 500 copies are being built, and those will only be available in select southeastern states such as Florida. The same goes for the ’24 Jeep Gladiator Beach edition, however, even fewer will be offered (just 250 total). The Wrangler starts at $62,290, while the Gladiator starts at $52,390.

His aspiration growing up was to become a millionaire with a Jay Leno–like car collection. Apparently, getting rich is harder than social-media influencers make it seem, so he avoided financial success entirely to become an automotive journalist and drive new cars for a living. After earning a journalism degree at Central Michigan University and working at a daily newspaper, the years of basically burning money on failed project cars and lemon-flavored jalopies finally paid off when Car and Driver hired him.
