Porsche received information about a potential manufacturing issue in May of this year with its instructions. Upon receiving this information, the company promptly launched an investigation to identify the affected units.
Fortunately, no accidents or injuries have been reported due to the problematic part. Porsche will take the necessary steps to replace and install the fastener screw while reinforcing the affected area.
The models impacted by the recall are the Macan, Macan S, Macan Turbo, and Macan Sports Edition, produced from 2016 to 2020. Certain Panamera models, including the Panamera 4, Panamera 4 E-Hybrid, Panamera Turbo Sports Turismo, and Panamera Turbo, are also affected.
