The demand for the said Mustang trim can be attributed to the Electronic Drift Brake, a feature that aids the car for easier drift initiation. Meanwhile, 27% of Mustang orders come with a manual transmission, exclusively available on the GT and the Dark Horse trims.
Regarding paint colors, Ford said that the top choices for the Mustang EcoBoost and GT are Shadow Black, Oxford White, and Rapid Red. Meanwhile, the Blue Ember is the most popular color option for the Mustang Dark Horse, with 39% of buyers opting for it.
The seventh-generation Ford Mustang has two engine options, a 2.3-liter EcoBoost and a 5.0-liter V8. The latter is the Mustang’s most powerful V8 engine yet, generating up to 500 horsepower in the Dark Horse. Hopefully, we’ll see this at or on its way to dealers soon too.
