With only one key left, Hamilton jumps into the driver’s seat of the Mercedes-AMG S63 E Performance, which has lost none of its charm, even though it’s now also a plug-in hybrid. The 4.0-liter V8 in the S63 produces 603 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque, while the electric motor pushes the combined output up to 791 hp and 1,055 lb-ft.

As mentioned in the video, this is the first time the two Merc boys have done a lap together, and what better car to do it in? The S63 still sounds like a Spitfire, contrasting nicely with the elegant exterior and interior.

It’s not clear what these two drive when they’re not in the W13 E Performance F1 car. There’s a rumor that Hamilton purchases two ONEs: one for him and one for his dad. But it has never been confirmed, and the winningest F1 driver of all time claimed to have sold all his supercars a few years ago to reduce his carbon footprint. Russell drove a C63 during his Williams days but upgraded to a last-gen GT S and a G63 on joining Merc last year.
