Volkswagen ID.X Performance Concept Revealed As Souped-Up ID.7 With 550 Horsepower

Right off the bat, the black wheel fenders provide the apparent athletic stance. These are coupled with a front splitter and a rear diffuser, both made from carbon fiber. A carbon wing is mounted on the trunk lid, ensuring necessary downforce for better stability on high-speed straights and corners. It goes along the reworked sports suspension, 2.4 inches lower than the standard ID.7.

The ID.X Performance has 20-inch sports alloy wheels wrapped in 265mm racing tires. Red accents are also found around the vehicle’s new aero kits, providing a sportier appeal similar to Nismo-based Nissan cars.

The red motif carries over into the interior, as seen on the steering wheel, dashboard, door panels, and seats. A diagonal 6.7-inch screen is installed below the infotainment screen, which controls the Vehicle Dynamics Manager for adjusting drive torque and the rear differential lock.
