Mercedes G-Wagen Pickup Truck Has Chevy LS Power

This Mercedes-Benz G-Class from Australia is one of the more unique builds for the German-made SUV. Get this: It’s a 460-series model with an updated look from the 462 Series AMG. Plus, its rear end was converted into a truck bed.

It sounds awesome already, but its trump card is a 5.7-liter Chevy LS1 V8 engine underneath its Mercedes engine cover. This is then paired to a manual gearbox because why not?

The LS-powered Aussie G-Class is currently being sold on Facebook Marketplace for 95,000 Australian Dollars. That’s equivalent to around $60,000 at current exchange rates, which is not cheap. Truck conversions like this are expensive but not as expensive as others we’ve seen before.
