There’s some good news for those looking at the mid-spec SEL trim. The RWD is priced at $47,250, while the AWD costs $50,750. This means the 2024 SEL models are $200 cheaper than last year’s model, which is a pleasant surprise.
SEL variants build on the SE’s impressive specification with standard Highway Driving Assist II, wireless charging, and a heated steering wheel. It seems to be the best pick, especially with the 2024 price reduction, but unfortunately, The Ioniq Guy reports that the SEL trim level is losing a few features.
This includes power-folding side mirrors, ambient interior lighting, H-Tex (leatherette) interior upholstery, rear air vents, and even soft-touch door plastics, among other things. Hyundai is yet to announce the standard specification for MY2024, so it will be interesting to see if the SEL models arrive with considerably less equipment.
