AirConsole and BMW think you need something to keep you entertained when you’re not driving, so they now offer in-car gaming. When stationary, the new X2 allows drivers or passengers to wind down with some smartphone-operated gaming that is displayed on the new Curved Display. Ten different titles will be available at launch, but BMW has not said which these will be, only that they will cover themes like racing, sport, quizzes, and skill games, with more to follow. This isn’t a big deal right now, but when the iX2 electric crossover arrives, the feature will surely be appreciated by buyers when charging their cars at public service stations.
As is common these days, audio and video streaming services will also be offered, including films and series, news, and more.
