Wild Tesla Cybertruck Sighting Shows Size Difference Versus Rivian R1T

The exact dimensions of the Cybertruck’s production version remain a mystery. Based on initial information, it’s listed as 231.7 inches long, 75 inches tall, and 79.8 inches wide – longer and taller than the R1T but a bit narrower. The Tesla pickup has been touted to have the longest bed in its class.

For reference, the Rivian measures 217.1 inches long, 87.1 inches wide, and 73.1 inches tall, with a bed that measures 4.5 feet long.

Based on the photos, the Cybertruck appears to be lording over the R1T in overall size, which we expected, since the Rivian is technically a midsize truck and the Cybertruck was always meant to be a full-size one. The only area the Rivian seems to reign supreme is in its stock ride height, where the Tesla appears to ride quite low to the ground. Then again, the R1T matches the R1S SUV as one of the highest-riding vehicles on the market.
