CarBuzz spy photographers have snapped images of new test mules believed to foreshadow the all-electric replacement for the Mercedes-AMG GT63 4-Door, and this is said to be something totally different than what we’re used to from Affalterbach’s EVs. What you’re looking at is a pair of cars dressed in the body of the AMG EQE, but our spies say it’s actually a totally different project internally codenamed C295.
According to the musings they’ve heard, this new EV is set for introduction in 2026 and will be fresh from the ground up with underpinnings courtesy of the new AMG.EA platform. That should make it a far more enjoyable car to drive hard than the current EVs from AMG, and if the rumors are true, we can also expect as much as 1,000 horsepower from the top model.
