BMW Insider Spills Secrets Of Several Upcoming Bimmers

The vehicle will reportedly reach non-European markets in spring 2026, which means a reveal could take place in late 2024.

The iX3 will be offered in five flavors: eDrive40, xDrive40, eDrive50, xDrive50, and M60 xDrive. We assume these models will boast more power than the existing BMW EVs, so we can expect at least 335 horsepower. An M60 xDrive derivative could have up to 610 hp, more than the current X3 M Competition.

An iX4 (NA7) and i3 will be offered with the same drivetrain options. The next-generation X4 crossover coupe will reportedly arrive with electric power only and is expected to enter production in 2026 at the automaker’s Debrecen plant in Hungary. As for the i3 (NA0), this nameplate will be worn by the Munich-based brand’s cheapest electric vehicle.

These models would join BMW’s growing range of electric vehicles, which currently includes the i4 Gran Coupe, i5, i7, and iX.
