Plenty of bespoke parts are present from the door handles to the custom one-piece machined 6061 billet aluminum front grille. It sits slightly lower than stock on some dark gray HRE wheels with ZR-rated tires but for the most part, is an under-the-radar build hiding a powerful secret.
The client wanted the vehicle to be blisteringly fast and well-mannered and it appears Icon delivered. First, it partnered with Nelson Racing Engines, the geniuses behind engines like the one in the 1,890-hp SSC Tuatara. The engine builder delivered a twin-turbo Alien LS 427 that cranks out 1,000 hp and 900 lb-ft of torque through a 4L85-E automatic transmission with overdrive.
Rack and pinion steering is then featured along with a Dana 60 nodular rear end, high-capacity hydro-boosted Brembo brakes at all four corners, and a Mil-spec One powder-coated frame. Things have been modernized for comfort too, as it now features a modern-day HVAC system, power windows, and power door locks.
