First S650 Ford Mustang In The 10s Is All Motor With No ECU Tune

Besides a Ford Performance knuckle-to-toe link bearing assembly and drag-specific four-piston brakes from Baer on the front and the rear, the entire list of suspension and chassis upgrades comes from Steeda’s own catalog. The build list includes the front K-member developed for the S550, drag-specific front coilovers, camber plates, double adjustable rear shocks, an adjustable rear ride height system, subframe braces for the independent rear suspension, vertical links with Delrin bushings, adjustable rear toe links, billet rear adjustable camber arms, billet rear shock mounts, and much more.

Inside, Corbeau racing seats up front are paired with a rear seat delete. Running gear includes Billet Specialties Redline front wheels and Redline beadlock rears wrapped in Mickey Thompson drag tires.

With the S550, Steeda eventually managed to post a record-breaking nine-second time without any boost, and it went mid-8s with an Edelbrock Supercharger. We can’t wait to see what Steeda achieves with the S650 when that pesky ECU bares all.
