Like the body kit, the new wheels are also functional. The new AC4 Lightweight Forged design is up to 35% lighter than the standard M2 wheels and improves the already sharp driving dynamics by reducing unsprung mass. According to AC Schnitzer, they also aid acceleration and braking, thanks to their lightweight construction.
The tuner offers the new design in a staggered wheel and tire setup, with 285/30 R20s and 295/25 R21s at the front and rear, respectively. However, an all-round 20-inch wheel and tire combo is also available. Available finishes include Techgold or gloss black.
There are no engine upgrades yet available, as AC Schnitzer is still working on its in-house tunes. That’s no problem, as the standard turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six produces a healthy 453 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission.
Revisions have been made to the M2’s suspension, and there’s a new exhaust system for the S58 motor to breathe through.
