After a four-year wait, the Tesla Cybertruck is almost here, but only for a very minute group of people. The first deliveries will occur on November 30, with lucky customers finally getting their hands on the Tesla truck. But, as reported by Mexican newspaper Millenio, the automaker will hand over fewer Cybertrucks than expected.
Product design director Javier Verdura said, “We are going to deliver the first ten,” when speaking at an event in Mexico earlier this month.
Tesla hasn’t shared who the first batch of trucks will go to, but they could go to Tesla employees. In 2017, the first Model 3s were delivered to workers who ordered their cars early. Regardless, ten is nowhere near the two million pre-orders Tesla originally amassed.
In other Cybertruck news, new images of the truck and its interior have leaked via X/Twitter, giving us our best look yet at the production-ready truck.
