Ferrari only produced 42 FXX-K examples based on the road-going LaFerrari, which, by the way, could finally be in line for a replacement next year. The K in the moniker refers to the kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), an onboard technology that recovers kinetic energy under braking to later deploy for increased acceleration.

Powering the high-performance, limited-production track cars is a 6.3-liter naturally-aspirated V12 that falls under the F140 family. This engine series also powers the likes of the Daytona SP3 and 812 Competizione. In the FXX-K, though, the power unit delivers a combined output of 1,036 horsepower and over 633 lb-ft of torque. The internal combustion engine makes 860 hp, while the electric motor adds 187 horses.
