Like most Kei cars, the Puzzle features a delightfully mad face and funky styling. Yes, it’s very boxy, but it’s a utilitarian design that puts function ahead of form. That is obvious when you look at the standard features. Aside from onboard Wi-Fi and a first-aid kit, other sensible accessories include a crowbar, emergency tools, and AC plug outlets. The solar panels ensure the vehicle can be driven during power outages, which is excellent if you are in a quandary.
Of course, USB ports and plug outlets are nothing new – many cars have them. But the Puzzle sets itself apart by offering outward-facing outlets, which means it can be used to charge up devices or power appliances on the fly.
There’s no word yet on battery size or performance, but we’re guessing something this small – it measures 133.9 inches long – doesn’t need a massive battery pack.
