Hyundai Ioniq 7 Prototype Spied Testing With Less Camouflage

Hyundai Ioniq 7 Prototype Spied Testing With Less Camouflage

Up front, we can see another Staria-inspired styling element, and that’s the lightbar. Clearly, this car will be easily recognizable as a relative of the Ioniq 5. Sadly, we can’t yet be sure if the entire bar will illuminate as a DRL, but we suspect so. This design ethos has also been applied to the Hyundai Grandeur luxury sedan, also not sold in the States, and it has similar lower lights to this Ioniq 7, too.

It’s nice to see Hyundai staying true to the futuristic design first previewed on the Seven concept in 2021. We assume the production-ready Ioniq 7 will be toned down, but as Kia showed us with the EV9, it is possible to successfully transfer concept vehicle cues to a road-going car.

Like the EV9, which can also be seen in the above image, the Ioniq 7 will be based on Hyundai’s E-GMP architecture.
