What’s the best deal in this sale so far? We always recommend the Garmin Forerunner 245 (on sale for $199), especially if you’re looking for a beginner to intermediate level fitness watch. We currently rate the newer iteration of the Forerunner series, the Forerunner 255, as our best fitness watch overall in 2024; but if you are willing to go down to a slightly older model, the Forerunner 245 is going to provide you similar performance for a much lower price. The 245 still promises long battery life (up to 7 days in smartwatch mode), and it comes with metrics that help measure running dynamics and heart rate—so you’re covered on all the essential specs one would want in a fitness smartwatch.
