Not much can be confirmed at this point, but at least the roof was left uncovered, making it easier for us to see that the roof rails actually look functional now. The fascia is unclear, but split headlights appear to be evident, as is a wide grille with thin slats running its full width. Hyundai has said that it is redesigning the SUV to be more in line with what we like – built for America in America.
Inside the cabin, we can see that a pair of screens will be joined to form the driver cluster and the infotainment display, with these existing under a single pane of curved glass. We also see that physical switches and dials have been retained, including on the steering wheel. The center console is not so clear, but we can see multiple USB ports.
