We know that McLaren is seriously considering an SUV, potentially as its first all-electric vehicle – CEO Michael Leiters has publicly expressed the British automaker’s interest in the segment. However, this is only expected to break cover in 2026, so that’s not what McLaren is teasing here. Whether McLaren’s first arrives as an SUV or as a sedan, it’s still a couple of years out, if it even happens.
Although highly unlikely, we cannot rule out the possibility of a surprise track toy like the Solus GT. Some have even theorized that we could be getting our first glimpse of the P1 successor, but when asked about it last year, Leiters said, “Maybe at the end of the decade.”
So there you have it. McLaren is probably teasing either an Artura Spider or an Artura LT, and we’ll know which on Monday.
