An all-electric powertrain in the GranCabrio Folgore will provide 751 hp and 996 lb-ft of torque from a tri-motor setup. It should unlock a zero to 60 mph sprint time in just 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph.
The electric version would offer buyers shopping in the grand tourer market a unique proposition as rivals like Bentley and Aston Martin have yet to roll out their EVs – albeit the former could release its first electric car in the next two years.
Regarding pricing, the Maserati GranCabrio should top the GranTurismo due to the added components of the soft-top feature. For reference, the GranTurismo starts at $158,000 in the US, with the more potent Trofeo trim coming in at $190,000.
