However, there are a few things to keep in mind. The 5,000 miles of free high-speed charging come with a two-year expiration date from the delivery date. The March 31 deadline has been set, too, so exceptions won’t be granted. More importantly, the Supercharging credits are tied to the customer’s Tesla account, so they can’t be transferred if the vehicle gets sold to another owner.
There are a few exceptions, too. Used vehicle purchases, business orders, and vehicles used for commercial purposes are excluded from this promotion. Tesla lease returns also don’t qualify, while the Cybertruck, which we doubt will be delivered by March 31 to owners (unless through referral credits), isn’t part of the promotion.
