The mid-spec Touring is also privy to the discount, with the 2WD and 4WD variants retailing for $44,200 and $47,200 (after incentives). Even the plushest version of the Prologue, the Elite Dual Motor AWD, gets the $7,500 discount. The final price for this range-topper? $50,400.
“Having the Honda Prologue qualify for the $7,500 EV tax credit is great news for our customers. The Prologue is stylish, sporty, and priced right, hitting the sweet spot of the EV market and meeting the demand from our customers,” said Lance Woelfer, assistant vice president of Honda National Auto Sales.
There is a small caveat, however. Honda has said that most 2024 Prologues will qualify for the incentive. What does this mean? Only examples built after February 26, 2024, qualify for the tax credit. However, Honda has said all MY2024 Prologues qualify for the incentive through leasing.
