Alfa Romeo has confirmed that its new compact crossover, the Milano, will be revealed on April 10 later this year.
Ahead of the reveal, the Italian brand is hard at work putting the final touches on the baby Alfa, with the brand’s first series production electric car being evaluated in dynamics and handling tests. The developmental assessments are currently ongoing at the Balocco testing site, an historic proving ground for the luxury brand.
It may be a small electric crossover, but there’s a good chance it will be fun to drive. Firstly, it’s an Alfa, and we doubt the brand will attach its name to something dull. The fact that the engineers behind the 4C, 8C, and Giulia GTA performance cars are working on the Milano fills us with confidence.
Currently, the team behind the Milano are fine-tuning the vehicle dynamics and suspension, with the aim of creating a crossover with “best-in-class” handling.
