The Alpine A290, a modern electric reincarnation of the Renault 5 Turbo, has been spied undergoing winter testing, and some of the camouflage has been removed while other parts of it now act as advertising. At least, that’s the case with one of the test mules our spies caught as the other is still completely covered in camo. That said, our cameras were allowed into the cabin to get a good look at the seats and most of the dash, although finer details are still hidden under drapes or decals.
The new decals and the fact that the test engineers allowed photographers to take images of the cabin suggest that a reveal is imminent.
