The Casio Edifice Mugen Edition comes with the tuning company’s brand colors of white, red, gold, and black, which can be seen on the dial, band loop, and stitching. The engraving or the numbers in the watch’s bezel is inspired by the font used by Mugen on its specialized shift knobs, giving the timepiece a special look. Casio opted to use Alcantara for the Edifice Mugen Edition’s strap, a material typically used in cars for its tactility, durability, and breathability.
The watch also has a carbon fiber-reinforced resin case, delivering strength and lightness. Casio added that the watch also took inspiration from the double wishbone suspension used in race cars, with the lugs that connect the strap to the case configured in a four-arm arrangement.
