Yanfeng also showcased its modular steering wheel concept called ClickRim. Compared to traditional tillers, which involve a manual wrapping process, manufacturing Yanfeng’s steering wheel is fully automated, which, again, simplifies things for automakers. Depending on the requirement, the steering wheel can be configured with various materials – including fabric, leather, artificial leather, or any other wrapped or molded materials.
Yanfeng has also introduced an updated version of its Hover Seat, which made its global debut a few years ago. The seating technology now comes with adaptive Seat Sensing Posture ID technology, developed through zero gravity research (similar to Nissan and its zero-gravity seats), detecting the occupant’s seating position, level of fatigue, and body type.
Yanfeng is one of the world’s top automotive suppliers focusing on interior, exterior, seating, cockpit, and passive safety equipment. In 2022, it accumulated $15 billion worth of worldwide sales to automakers.
