Driven: 2023 Range Rover Sport Hybrid Is A Consummate All-Rounder

With the new Range Rover and now the Range Rover Sport, Land Rover has upped its game, delivering one of the best interiors in its class. Elegant and intelligently packaged, it is a wonderful place for long and short stints behind the wheel. It is a cabin worthy of an ultra-luxury carmaker.

The PHEV only comes in Autobiography trim, which includes 22-way heated and ventilated, massage electric memory front seats, heated/ventilated power recline rear seats, lots of extra leather thanks to the SV Bespoke Full Extended Leather upgrade, Suedecloth headlining, and a Meridian 3D Surround sound system.

For $4,500, the Merdian Signature sound system ups the power from 800W to 1,430W and adds ten more speakers for a total of 29. I’m no audiophile, but it sounded great.

If you don’t want leather, at no extra cost, Land Rover offers its own Ultrafabrics material, which our model came with finished in Light Cloud and Ebony. It looks and feels no less premium than leather and is a truly viable alternative. A non-leather steering wheel is a $300 option, however.
