Electric Porsche 911 Cabrio Resto-Mod Costs The Same As 2 New 911 GTS Cabrios

“Increasingly, we receive inquiries from customers who want to go beyond the Targa,” says Martijn van Dijk, commercial director of Voitures Extravert. “And as the weather trends towards even more sunshine and dry conditions, the Cabrio will be the daily choice of many of our customers.”

If this whole thing sounds right up your alley, the process to find the donor vehicle all the way until delivery will take about a year and is going to cost you a lot. The 911 quintessenza TE Cabrio costs an estimated $379,000 – a fee that includes the sourcing of the donor car and everything thereafter. However, additional customization options will drive this up further.

Currently, the most expensive Porsche 911 is the $272,300 911 Sport Classic, which pales in comparison. For the price of one TE Cabrio, you can buy two 911 Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolets and still have money left over. Thankfully, each car comes with a five-year/62,500-mile warranty and the vehicle health is monitored remotely with over-the-air updates to optimize the powertrain.
