Ford Mustang GT's Gen 4 Coyote V8 Now Available As A Crate Engine

Both versions of the Gen 4 Coyote 5.0-liter V8 Aluminator crate engine come with forged steel crankshaft, Mahle Hard Anodized forged pistons with Grafal low friction coating, Manley H-beam connecting rods with ARP 2000 bolts, and four-valve-per-cylinder aluminum heads with roller-finger followers. The composite Mustang GT intake manifold has been tuned with production dual drive-by-wire 80mm throttle bodies with variable runner control.

The setup for both crate engines includes Ford Performance spark plugs, an oil filter, and billet steel gerotor oil pump gears. However, vehicle harnesses, PCM, exhaust manifolds, and alternators are not part of the package.

The crate engine weighs 529 pounds for the naturally aspirated NAD, while the SCD tips the scales at 530 lbs.
