The Need for Speed franchise is one of the most well-known racing game series, published by Electronic Arts (EA). Its first installment was launched in 1994, and 24 more games and one movie have since followed.
The games are centered around illegal street racing competitions and police pursuits. Need for Speed Heat is the twenty-fourth installment in the franchise, set in the fictional Palm City, loosely based on Miami, with gorgeous beaches, mountains, and cityscapes. The gameplay includes a mix of track races, and police chases, along with various events focused on off-roading and drifting. Basically, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
An extensive selection of cars is available to acquire in the game, from a Ford Mustang to a Koenigsegg Regera and everything in between. Cars are obtained by collecting money and reputation points. Your “rep level” is determined by your involvement in the street racing scene and participation in competitions.
