Supernal is gearing up to establish a facility in the US to produce these flying taxis. The company plans to apply for certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the coming months, emphasizing the necessity for collaboration between companies and regulators due to the nascent nature of this industry.

“There’s nothing out there – no infrastructure, no policy, no regulation,” Shin said. “Since it’s so brand new, the FAA doesn’t have an established certification method.”
