“There is definitely [an] opportunity to do more, to go north of 10,000 with the existing network without ever needing to think about accessing new markets with new dealers,” Clark explains.
Clark also shared that the company has received positive feedback among the first units delivered, particularly with its six-cylinder BMW engine.
But some buyers have complained about a few things, including the lack of vanity mirrors for the driver and front passenger. However, Clark considers this a positive thing, with customers using the off-roader as a daily driver and even for family trips.
The Grenadier is a strange proposition in the modern automotive market, sharing back to the age of the old Land Rover Defender. But there’s clearly demand for such a utilitarian vehicle, which should translate well when the Quartermaster pickup variant arrives stateside.
