Kalmar fits each RS-6 with a custom spring set, subframe kit, and adjustable shock absorbers. Other upgrades include new driveshafts, top mounts, bushes, and light alloy wheels wrapped in chunky Michelin tires (all-terrain or spiked winter rubber). The chassis has been stiffened by a new strut brace that helps distribute loads across the front axle.
If that’s still not enough, Kalmar offers an adaptive shock absorber. Hydraulic lift shock absorbers are also on the options list and can increase the ride height by an additional 1.96 inches. This makes the RS-6 very versatile. One moment, you can be racing over rough dirt tracks; the next, you could dart around a mountain pass. Other options include a rally-spec fly-off handbrake, racing seats, and a full roll cage. If you want, Kalmar will even restore the vehicle.
A six-speed transmission (manual and automatic is available), rear roll cage, and 0.3-inch thick underbody protection are standard.
