Kia says it has redefined the interior as a “spacious space where you can feel peace and comfort.” Other revisions include an updated ambient lighting system and larger cup holders. The infotainment system uses the ccNC (connected car navigation cockpit) operating system, previously described as an intelligent mobility experience.
Three interior finishes are offered: Taupe, Navy Gray, and Cotton Beige. Unfortunately, Navy Grey is only available on the hybrid model, which uses an electrified 1.6-liter engine that produces combined outputs of 245 horsepower.
On the technology front, the new Carnival gains multi-zone voice recognition, a UV-C sterilizing center console storage bin, Kia Digital Key 2, and more. Kia has worked hard to improve passenger comfort. The second row receives soundproofed glass that enhances cabin quietness.
