Lucid Air Joins Police Force As Luxury EV Patrol Car

Based on the post, the EV is showcased at the country’s World Defense Show until February 8. It is finished with a two-tone black and white paint scheme, along with “Police” and “911” decals. The government agency didn’t specify which trim is on display but the wheel design suggests it is an Air Pure, which is the model’s entry-level variant.

The Lucid Air Pure is the only rear-wheel-drive (RWD) trim in the range, making 430 horsepower from a single-motor setup. Regardless, runners won’t get away easily from the EV as it can go from zero to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. The range at 410 miles (EPA-rated) should be way more than enough for a long day of patrolling duty.
