Mazda Going Back To Making Hot Performance Cars Under Mazda Spirit Racing

Mazda Spirit Racing has been participating in the Super Taikyu Series since 2021, allowing it to use its learnings from the series to develop the Mazda Spirit Racing RS Concept (MX-5 Miata) and Mazda Spirit Racing 3 Concept (Mazda3 Hatchback). The company plans to pursue grassroots-based motorsports activities outside the Super Taikyu Series.

There are also red accents on the bumper, brakes, and side mirrors – a similar approach Nissan is doing with Nismo cars. The MX-5 has red accents in the interior, including a red center marker on the steering wheel. While both concepts get aero kits on their lower bodies, the Mazda 3 Hatchback has a wing.
