The upcoming 4er’s powertrain details are scarce at this point. However, we can expect two engine options: a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 engine. The facelifted BMW 4 Series could also host a performance output increase as the upcoming M2 CS will reportedly deliver around 500 to 520 horsepower. Since the 4 Series is slotted above the 2 Series, we could see the former make more than that.
It is not until early 2024 that we will see updates on the new BMW 4 Series, but at least we saw the vehicle’s performance on the track.
