The exterior teaser confirmed what we already suspected, but a second teaser of the interior (shared by BMW Head of Design Domagoj Dukec) is especially revealing.
This video provided our best look at the i5’s interaction light bar, which is similar to the one in the i7. The light bar can be configured with different color schemes, and it also plays animations for various car functions.
The teaser also shows the newest iDrive version 8.5, which will debut in the i5 and introduce a more intuitive layout, improved EV route mapping, and more. It will later roll out to existing BMW models through an over-the-air update.
