The Jiyue 07 is expected to go on sale in China sometime in mid-2024.
If Geely keeps the momentum going, the Chinese automaker’s presence should grow globally. After all, the company already owns several world-renowned brands, such as Volvo, Lotus, and Polestar. It even has Aston Martin aboard, sealed by a 17% stake signed earlier this year, making Geely the British luxury automaker’s third largest stakeholder.
However, we won’t likely have to be concerned about these rising Chinese EV models – at least not anytime soon. US lawmakers are taking action to prevent them from flooding the local market.
