Ford has been suffering from an array of quality issues and, last year, suffered more recalls than any other automaker. It’s surprising to see two vehicles within the top 10. However, the brand is trying to get things back on track and has implemented stringent quality control methods with the latest Super Duty trucks. Hopefully, this extends to the rest of the lineup.
iSeeCars has also provided separate lists for passenger vehicles, trucks, and SUVs. Look closely, and you’ll notice a lack of European and Korean cars. The only Euro models to make the list are the Volkswagen Golf (14.2%), Volkswagen Jetta (11.7%), and, surprisingly, the Audi A8 L (11.1%). Aside from the German luxury sedan, the only other premium vehicles to make the list are the Lexus GS 300 and the Acura MDX, RL, and TL models.
Other strong contenders include the GMC Sierra 2500HD (41.3%) and Chevy Silverado 2500HD (41.2%), along with the Toyota 4Runner (41.0%) and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (31.0%).
