The RB26 in this build is far from stock, with a Spool Imports RB29 stroker kit and cylinder heads by Rams Head Service. The car also gets a BorgWarner EFR 9280 turbocharger, a Holinger RD6 sequential gearbox, a Motec M150 ECU, and a dry sump system from Peterson Fluid Systems.
To handle the extra power, the stock block of the RB26 has been replaced with a sturdier N1 RB26 block, plus CP-Carrillo rods and pistons, allowing the build to make up to 1,500 horsepower. Chris, however, detunes the car to 900 hp for drag racing and further down to 550-600 hp when at the track.
To help put the power down, Ben from Benchmark Solutions stepped in to reprogram the ECU, tuning out some of the midrange torque to make it more manageable.
