Nissan has revealed the Hyper Punk Concept, completing the automaker’s series of Hyper concepts unveiled this month. It joins the Hyper Adventure off-roader, the Hyper Urban city sleeker, and the Hyper Tourer outlandish people-hauler in representing Nissan’s vision of the future at the 2023 Japan Mobility Show.
According to Nissan, the crossover concept is “tailored for content creators, influencers, artists, and those who embrace style and innovation.” In other words, the Hyper Punk Concept represents self-expression in the digital age.
Nissan has gone wild in designing the high-riding coupe crossover, showering the concept with bold lines, sharp angles, and unconventional styling such as those massive wheel arches and triangle LEDs on each wheel. There are multifaceted and polygonal surfaces, and the silver paint shifts tones depending on the viewing angle and light source.
