Also present in the trailer is Bumblebee, now a 1970s Chevrolet Camaro. Bumblebee used to be a VW Beetle in the original TV series, but in this movie, Volkswagen is represented by Wheeljack as a Volkswagen Type 2. Also in the trailer, but not in vehicle form, is Arcee. Arcee transforms into a red and white Ducati 916 and is voiced by Liza Koshy.
We’re also looking forward to some of the Decepticons, including Battletrap, who turns into a 1980s GMC TopKick C7000 tow truck, and Nightbird, who becomes what looks like an aftermarket-laden Nissan Skyline GT-R R33.
This should be an exciting installment and is the first in a new trilogy influenced by the Transformers: Beast Wars animated TV show that followed directly from the original TV series and line of toys.
