Introduced in 2008, the Ram 1500 Classic is important in the range as it is the full-size pickup truck’s entry-level model with a current starting price of $32,345 (excluding the $1,995 destination charge) for the Tradesman variant. That price is at par with midsize pickup trucks available in America, including the Ford Ranger that starts at $32,670. Essentially, you get a larger truck with the Classic for the price of a midsize pickup.
While the full details have yet to be disclosed, the 1500 Classic should still be available with two engine options. The first is a 3.6-liter V6 engine, while the other is a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 for an additional $2,495 based on the 2023 model year. An eight-speed automatic gearbox should be available, sending power to either the rear or all four wheels, depending on the option chosen.
