Such performance was previously unheard of for a pickup, but we’ve already seen electric trucks like the GMC Hummer EV Pickup and Rivian R1 outclass the dinosaur juice-burning TRX.
The TRX Final Edition will be available in the fourth quarter of 2023, starting at $117,625 (not including a $1,995 destination charge). Pricing for the standard 2024 TRX will reportedly start at $97,500, but the Final Edition gets optional equipment such as carbon fiber trim, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system, head-up display, digital rearview mirror, and plenty of safety technology.
With the Ram 1500 TRX bowing out, the Ford F-150 Raptor R will have the supercharged truck market all to itself. GM has already embraced electrification with the Hummer EV, Ford has an electric version of its popular F-150, and Ram won’t be far behind.
